Sorry for being nerdy, but Cookoo clock are from blackforest, and that is far away from bavaria, and a different tradition and culture.

Since when is it the Bavarians who are famous for cuckoo-clocks? It’s always been Bavarians for beer, the Swiss for cuckoo-clocks.

The cuckoo clock was developped in the Black Forest area in the state of Baden-Württemberg in Germany. The Swiss much later developped the “Chalet” style.

The cuckoo clock discussion is interesting, but there’s an ecclesiastical technicality worth pointing out as well. You know, just to be pedantic. These guys are dress as bishops, not priests, so it’s unlikely they would address each other as “Father.”

First time I’ve seen that hat used for something funny. Mind you they’re already funny in and of themselves. I wonder if they used to keep a snack in there, in case the prayer sessions ran long.

They would be called “Your Grace” if they were of the Roman Catholic persuasion. If Episcopalian, a Bishop would be simply addressed as ‘Bishop’. It’s only when someone becomes an Archbishop that he (or she) is addressed as ‘You Grace’.
