Panel two looks like they are playing in the ‘cow pasture’ that Andy Griffith talks about in ‘WHAT IT WAS … WAS FOOTBALL’. Where he says the object of the game appeared to him was to run with that little pumpkin from one end of that pasture to the other without one of the guys on the other side knocking you down and without stepping in ‘something’.

“Now Charlie gets to play a full series?”

“Well, we couldn’t think of any other way to make you more conversational.”

I’m going to be sorely disappointed if this story doesn’t end in divorce.

P1, The pass rush is so fierce that it wore the lettering but not the numbers right off their uniforms.

P2, Well, at least it wasn’t a Charlie Roe fumble.

P3, If they’re down by that much they’re not going to be doing a whole lot of running, stupid.

Hey- at least his yards per carry average may increase with Jefferson not expecting a run.

Wait for it….Chet sticks his foot in his mouth and exposes his entire agenda to all the Milford bleacher bums and all the snoopin’ by private dick, Ms. Douchey, will become a moot point

Charlie leads the greatest comeback in Milford history and then goes back to the bench.

Stupid Jefferson player celebrating while the touchdown is being scored. Doesn’t he know that’s what the 30 minutes after the play is over is for?

The Milford QB reminds me of the Steelers QB last night. A bunch of horrible interceptions and lucky to not get a couple more. Is Tru(e) Standish a senior this year? He should go high in the draft, there’s a lot of teams that need help.

Well this was surprising. I didn’t expect to find out if they were going to win or lose for at least a couple of games. Good to know we don’t have to worry about the Playdowns again this year.

Fistpump Man getting a lot of action now, two days in a row since he defected to Jefferson. I wonder if his arms have actually been in the air the whole time since yesterday’s touchdown?

And speaking of touchdowns, it would behoove you to touch down on the Mopped Up Thorp website and read today’s strip.

Way out in left field. Here in OK, 1 HS has been blowing thru everything. One game he ran 613 yards, Set a national record when he scored 11 touchdowns in a 102-55 final(when I read that, thought they were talking about BB) Second highest ever in 8 man football. Then he tied the 11 touchdowns when he scored 11 more while rushing 571 yards in a 92-54 win. For the season so far he has 2,468 rushing yards. Would love to see how he does in College. Div 1 or Div 2. He not only can’t be arm tackled, he has several times, run more than 10 yards with a tackler or 3 hanging on him
