So good to see that Goldie is feeling better. Of course she’s a fan of mysteries. If she’s running out of books to read, maybe she should try her paw at writing “The Case of the Missing People.”
It’s so good to see Goldie looking rested and happy and NOT sneezing! I’m sure a new mystery will present itself once Goldie has the run of the Big Pink House and meets all the gang.
As a proud, geek/nerd, I have dreamed of getting locked in a huge library and hanging out in the science, science fiction and mystery section! But my nightmare is being stuck in a room with a huge TV, that is only playing reality shows! AAAAARRRGH!!
Thanks so much for all the prayers, hugs, boops for my Ziggy. He does NOT have cancer!!! Picked him up from the hospital yesterday afternoon with antibiotics. He’s back eating and drinking well, and I was told the infections are completely treatable. So happy. Thanks again y’all. This is the best place!
Try James McClure’s “Snake”, “The Steam Pig”, et al… mysteries set in South Africa. Hard to find but thriftbooks.com is a great place to start for all the above-mentioned series. (Solar Pons too)
Did you guys know that Agatha Christie loved kitty cats and when she was a little girl she had a sustained imaginary game about kittens? She had a lot of imaginary friends and cats.
Once again I need to ask the Orb for help at https://www.paypal.me/IloraGarden. There’s a $140 balance on my phone/internet account and I can’t pay it. I am FINALLY moving into my new place, four days from today. They won’t transfer my service or let me change the main person on the account from my old roommate’s name to mine until I am completely paid off. I need internet to come here and read BCN as well as less important things like, say, work. Again, ANYTHING you can send is helpful for me to work something out, emotional and spiritual as well as financial. May you and your cats and all dear ones be blessed. Thank you.
So is that the Man’s office or the Woman’s office? Could be both. In any case, need a bit more than Agatha Christie. Please don’t take that as a slight against Christie. I just think they could use more mysteries by other authors in addition to Christie.

Perhaps Goldie would enjoy reading the mysteries of Joe Grey or Koko and Yum Yum.

I picture Goldie in a 1930’s Dashiell Hammett black & white mystery like the Thin Man, but in this case it would be the Thin Cat.
