This strip couldn’t possibly be mirroring Republicans defense of Trump by saying “Ukraine got the money…eventually” only after Trump got caught. Right?
This is a good example of writing on two levels. On the one, it’s simply a funny comic about a bratty little girl. And then there’s all those who find political commentary in it. That’s good writing because it is perfectly okay to enjoy it as a comic and not drag in the daily news.
I’m glad that there ain’t no bleedin’ politics, whether actual or implied, in this here current arc………By the way, of all the kids in all the comics these days, I’d have to rate Danae as probably the most interesting. There’s just something about a cute little psycho with a pet talking horse……………
Way to make “it” relatable to everyone, including children. I saw in the comments we have one in denial of truth so far… to borrow a phrase form the ‘greatest’ president with the largest hands and hugest crowd size, “Sad”.

Pelosi may try to use Danae’s argument, if she ever decides to deliver the articles of impeachment to the Senate.

It’s not a crime unless you get caught.

Amazing, isn’t it, that strips about a child being childish are seen as political.

Today’s equations: Danae = Trump, Lucy = Pence, Joe = Pelosi

In my house Dad is the legislative, executive and judicial branches. As my Mom used to say, families are not a democracy.

Joe should just give Danae a good ol’ fashioned bare bottom spanking to keep her in line.
