my last place had a driveway large enough to park 4 tractor trailers end to end and the top portion I parked 4 transports side by side, and used a 10 hp snow blower to clear it. I left it, and the woman , but man do I miss the dog. lol
which is why you probably shouldn’t read mainstream news – they actively want to make you angry as it increases circulation figures, the most usual trick is to show a very limited part of story.
As a recovering news junkie, I realize how difficult it is to find mood-improving distractions.
Just when I think I can relax by watching my favorite team get beat in the NFL playoffs, doesn’t that Orange Idiot in Washington say or do something else, … or the Venezuelan Baboon decides to usurp the last vestige of democracy in that country … or The Great Denier in Australia again offers to shake a hand but not lend one to the fire victims down under, … or … or… or… It’s Damn Hard To Ignore The World, Anymore!
While I was reading this cartoon and the commentary I got a little news alert…”House speaker Nancy Pelosi announced the House will vote on a war powers resolution to limit president Donald Trump‘s military actions after he ordered the killing of a top Iranian general last week, escalating tensions with Tehran”..NBC News…..Well, they needed to do something to control that mad man somehow!

My back made me get a snow blower. However, my driveway is 2/10ths of a mile long and I’m defiantly not a young man anymore.

A good snowball fight should brighten his mood although it might remind him of the news.

Ignorance isn’t the only fertilizer for tyranny. After all, pre-Hitler Germany was the most educated nation in the world.

I prefer to live where the snow is polite and civilized… and shovels itself. (aka: “rain”)

“News” has become opinion and a very good thing to ignore.

A different kind of civic duty, especially when you reach the public sidewalk. Don’t forget to salt.

“Ignorance is fertilizer for tyranny.”
Nice. First time ever I’ve heard that one.

The type of ignorance that comes from a public education that has been dumbed down so the lowest common denominator can feel like a prime number?

Unfortunately staying “informed” does no guarantee the development of good judgement, let alone wisdom.

He could go down to the Diner and have a cup of Flo’s famous Coffee.
But, then he runs the risk of bumping into Cap’n Eddie.
