So your magazine is interested in… photography, ay? “Photographs, ay”, he asked him knowlingly? Candid, you know, CANDID photography? Snap snap, grin grin, wink wink, nudge nudge, say no more?
I’m rather new here. So, why isn’t the media enthusiastic about this moon person with antennae until now? Wouldn’t she have been already popular in the news media? Are these other world people so common in Tracyville that the media just don’t care?
It was just a few months ago that we saw a bogus journalist with unseemly intentions turn up to do an interview at the Patterson Playhouse: Doc’s sidekick Sally posed (and exposed) as newspaper reporter Kassie Richmond. Whoever does media relations for the theater should be making a few calls to make sure this Vue thing is legit.
pass the jellyMysta looks like a completely different person when you can’t see the hair.2,)Everybody assumes Roboto will act like a “wolf” and get fried. But if he plays it straight, then what?
And going back to last year,a cultural tribute that nobody spotted. When hitman Sawtooth got his at Hoaglund Cemetary, that was a Staton shoutout to old stablemate Chuck Dixon at DC.Dixon wrote a classic Batman miniseries “GORDON’S LAW”,which featured a doomedinformant named “Checkers” Hoaglund.
I’m glad many Tracy fans are enjoying this storyline, but it seems like Joe & Mike have really fallen into a storytelling rut … working either the Patterson Playhouse or Mysta into a story when it seems like they have nowhere else to go with it. I guess combining Mysta & the Playhouse counts as an original twist.
Assuming the Vue interview is “for realies,” how is Roboto going to pull off his plan (whatever it is) to get some face-time with Futura/Mysta? A kidnapping may be his option of choice, but not all that easy to carry out (so to speak). Vue magazine probably has a staff photographer, but maybe Roboto could clock him/her and present himself as a substitute? Something of that sort is what he needs to gain access to the Golden Girl….

MANICURIST: They DO seem to invite people to give them a spin, don’t they? HANDLES: Don’t even…
