If the macaque owned the rights to the photos, he could turn them into a monkey business.

So, a zombie snail full of chemicals is eaten by a bird who in turn is zombified and eaten by a cat?

The trumpchloridium orangedoxum worm uses lies and bulls-hit to turn Americans into voting zombies, eaten by eager rethugicans.

The cartoon rendering of the swirly pattern in the “eyestalks” of the snail are more than a way to suggest messed up brain function. The parasites grow large enough to physically crawl into the stalks. Their twisting and writhing causes the stalks to rapidly inflate and deflate… and the creatures can actually be seen through the translucent tissue of the stalks.

And yes, there are YouTube videos.

Let’s face it, when it comes to creepy horror stories, mother nature wins hands down.

Your credibility, PETA. What about your perceived credibility? If you have any left. Perhaps you lost that long since. Good job with the lab animal awareness, though.

Nothing is creepier then the wasps which turn caterpillars into zombies and injects the eggs inside of them to eat the poor caterpillars from the inside out!

The same worm also infects the cuttle fish with the same results; suicidal activity. That way the worm ends up in a higher level of the food chain.

PETA drives me nuts. They have grown so extreme they’ve become a farce. That lawsuit about the Macaque is an prime example. Fortunately, they lost the lawsuit, but they also cost that poor photographer a great deal of money.

One of the fallacies in that particular argument— aside from the obvious — is that the same standard doesn’t apply to people. If I snatch your camera and take photos, it’s still your camera. You own the rights to the photos I take.

I work to be sure animals are treated respectfully and with kindness. I recognize that animals have rights in that aspect. PETA, on the other hand, doesn’t just take it to extremes, they also deny certain human rights. Including the right to own pets (they called it slavery). All of my pets have been rescues. I take good care of them and treat them well. Their only other option would have been euthanasia (in some cases) or a short, miserable life in the wild (in other cases).

Was peta hoping that if people thought they were the conventional type of stupid for trying to give a monkey copyright on a picture everyone would forget about the mass pet murdering their organization is responsible for? Never forget that peta has stolen and killed pets and service animals, lied to donators who were assured they would find lost animals homes, and supported literal terrorists. Don’t let the monkeyshines distract from that.

PETA are not only lunatics, they’re one of the largest mass murderers of domestic animals in the world.

“most animals taken in by PETA aren’t housed for very long. After reviewing two months worth of records, Kovich found that 245 of the 290 animals–84 percent–that PETA took into custody were killed within 24 hours. Only 17 were reported as adopted or in foster homes . . .

“of the 2317 dogs and cats in PETA’s shelter 99.3 percent were killed.”

I hope AMC doesn’t read this strip – they will make a new tv show about the zombie snail – every week – for years.
