Umm. Saw this yesterday, in color.

Well, I suppose if GoComics (or Toles?) is just going to repeat the same ’toon from yesterday, repeating the same comment is also appropriate? (But what is the counterpart to black and white?)

Donald Trump has spent the last three years bragging about a soaring stock market that he inherited from Obama, like he takes credit for everything he inherited (or stole) from others.

Now, Trump’s own mismanagement of our country’s risks in a pandemic — closing the CDC’s department of pandemic control that Obama set up to successfully halt Ebola, silencing public health officials trying to keep the public informed, minimizing and dismissing and ignoring serious risks, mishandling testing procedures, allowing evacuees from the Princess Diamond cruise ship to mix infected and non-infected passengers in direct contravention of CDC recommendations and then bringing them to Travis Air Force Base in Northern California where a nearby civilian could get exposed — has put his precious stock market into freefall.

Dow lost more than 3,200 points — 11% of total value — in four straight days of plummeting this week.

Trump, already of precarious mental health, ties his reelection hopes to the soaring stock market and, as his precious stock market collapses, he is freaking out.

Right wing religious conservatives may see babies in cages as the price someone else pays for their conservative judges and tax giveaways to the rich, but once their own health and safety is endangered, how long before they decide that their own survival — a price they have to pay themselves — is no longer an acceptable price?

Idle question: Does anybody still use printed paper tape in a stock-market ticker any more? I thot it was all electronic now.

The point being: Trump’s sycophants are like pets, to train them takes repetition, repetition, repetition. Hit them with the simple facts often enough and maybe they will learn.

That ignores the fact that their ignorance is deliberate. The very obvious willingness of the sycophants to die before admitting the truth is obvious and should be a warning sign heeded by all decent Americans.

But American citizens cling to their denial of the coming mass murder of Americans by Americans promoted by the current administration. Deny, deny, deny. This cannot happen in America, the military would refuse to shoot fellow citizens. No one remembers “Four dead in Ohio” under Nixon?

It can and will happen here.

This repeat in black and white looks more ominous today.

Good time to buy.

Well, Ol’ Punkinhead went down to S. Carolina for one of his wankfests. Maybe he snagged that virus there. Maybe it’ll do for him.

And so goes life in Trump’s America. Lord help us.

Trump is such a sentimentalist: For his next inauguration he plans to supplement the confetti from the withheld impeachment evidence with the old fashioned ticker tape. The Blue Angels flying overhead will temporarily be renamed The Red Angels.

Yep, he’s using a product of 19th Century technology to watch a 21st Century economic system being flushed down the toilet. (The echo around here is incredible, no?)

Nice summary of the truth. The Oaf of Office doesn’t care about the virus (as long as he doesn’t get it), he cares only about the market.
