Of course you can stay Fiona. There are some new ground rules however. One no smoking in the house, second put that damn cat in it’s cage, third start helping around the house. If you can’t bring yourself to do that leave.

Kinda funny how April was just born and they’re already focusing on an entirely new character, lol. I guess Lynn just had an idea (ie. “make fun of someone I know behind their back”), and knew she had all the time in the world to tell “new baby” jokes and observations.

Reading the Bio on the website is interesting (warning: spoilers!): https://www.fborfw.com/features/hybridwho/index.php?id=Fiona%20Brass

Kinda funny how Lynn makes a show of how even her father considered Fiona ugly, then writes this HUGE backstory and “whatever happened to…” bit with her. She clearly found this character interesting, even though she never seemed to go back to that well with her. It’s a bit cute that she sees the “these suckers deserve it” mentality known to most cheaters, but OF COURSE sees the Pattersons as genuinely nice people that she doesn’t want to screw over again, lol. The bit about the tiny jockey who lusted after “big women who looked a little bit like horses” would be horribly sexist from anyone but a female writer!

She also comes off a little bit more malevolent in her bio than in the comic, where she seems to just be a bit of a manipulative nuisance.

I foresee the kids ‘fixing’ this. Fiona’s annoyance tolerance will be exceeded.

Either Fiona leaves, or I will. At least until she’s gone.

    I don’t think she’s really related. She’s just con-artist working a scam.

Fiona is a marvelous actress. One wonders if that’s one of the “irons in the fire” that she has.

It’s so simple! Buy her a bus ticket and tell her she is leaving on the ticket date. End of discussion.

Sick or not, she needs to follow the house rules: 1) No smoking in the house, period; 2) Get your cat under control. Now, you are welcome to stay and we are glad to have you.

Such gullible and none confrontational adults. You let her smoke, destroying all of your carpets and curtains, and you and your children’s health. She was brought there to help you not hurt you. Stand up and be adults. This is your house!

Ultimately, we’ll try and help the people we are genetically link to, despite our best judgement. Genetics leads more problems than it should.

If you believe her bio at fbofw.com Fiona spent her teen years in foster homes and became an expert at playing the “nice people” who thought they were doing her such a big fsavor.

She’s not well and you’re letting her stay with a newborn in the house? Call 911 and then a kennel for the cat.

WHY would a sick person (especially now) purposely come into a home with a new baby?

I had a coworker like that once. He was a total screw-up, took breaks right after lunch, couldn’t do anything right. Even came to work high sometimes. When our boss would try to get him to shape up, he would be all, “Oh, please don’t fire me! Give me another chance!” Didn’t help that his dad was our chief designer. One day, this kid failed to do something he had been directly told to do in front of witnesses (me, for one). He was gone the next day.

The boundaries are definitely misplaced. John needs to get out of the hero role and FOCUS. Fiona too. Sometimes family is just too enmeshed to be the ones doing each other any good. I had to let my siblings go. Because I have a hard heart because I get so enmeshed and frustrated from the old family issues I didn’t recognize I needed to deal with. Fiona it only hit her knees for God like the angel said. Can you pick it up off the floor and GO GO DOG. Not everyone can wear the same hat and we do all learn differently so we all need different types of teachers. I thank God for those who love me enough to keep me focused on my duty the God and not enmess my issues with family. It has been a very painful week to say the least but I at least I’m back on track with working my own program. Letting go of Fiona would not be a bad idea but if she’s there and you’re not letting go we must trust God has a purpose for this in everyone’s process of self-actualization. Try and let go let God.
