Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
When we were young four of us were riding around on the highways of Calaveras county, California. A road sign warned, “BUMP.” One of us voiced our common thought: what does it mean, “bump?” A second later the car became airborne and, not having seatbelts, we all hit our heads on the roof.
When I was growing up in Northern Idaho there was a bridge on the road between the forests and the lumber mill over the Saint Mary’s river. The first cross member of that bridge had been hit so many times by logging trucks, they switched to bolting it on rather than the original rivets.
A pal and I were in his canoe and the low bridge we went under a dozen times before came up, while I was ducking I heard a loud thud from my immediate rear. Schmuck!
