Because he ate a bagel with peanut butter? And mentioned it?

In all reality , what did Rooney tell Dr Pearl that caused her to make a rare appearance to the Gil Thorp Memorial Ballpark ? I’m guessing that 14 Major League scouts are coming to see the Mayor’s next game . Any other ideas, inquiring minds want to know .

P1, Mr. Rooney seems to have a thang for Minnie Pearl.

P2, R&W should really clarify which of these two is making a rare appearance at the baseball diamond.

P3, Kaz doesn’t seem at all surprised that Gil is running off and leaving him to run the show. Also, Gil does his famous Arnold Schwarzenegger impression. Alright Gil, we’ll see you at Milford CC sometime in August.

P1- Yeah! Yeah! Oh yeah! I came by to see what condition my condition was in. Dr. Pearl sprays Rooney with her practical joker broach filled with Estee Lauder White Shoulders.

The good Doctor doesn’t know where Gil is during the school day, she has to interrupt practice to speak to him?

Doesn’t Dr. Pearl know it’s just Mike being Mike….plus he’s cute.

It’s a wonder more Mudlark ballplayers are not seriously injured with the first baseline only 4-5 feet away from their dugout. Makes GilPa Stadium a real hitters ark with very few foul pop fly outs.

After the conversation with Gilfather, Doc Pearl fires the complaining grouch Rooney and names The Mayor as the teacher. Gil quietly tells The Mayor to prepare his next class lecture on Carroll O’Conner and the depth of Archie Bunker. Gil rules!

Little does Gil know that Kaz’ advice to Mike was, “give people nicknames, and talk about your breakfasts.”

Time for ‘the Mayor’ to be impeached

P 4: “…me and Mike are gonna’ pay an unannounced visit to Rooney….snitches get stitches…”

I suppose we should wait for tomorrow but….COME ON! Kenny Rogers is upset because Mayor McCheese is disrupting his class. So, do something about it! Instead he goes to Dr. Pearl about it? And then instead of her telling him, “why are you bothering me with this, it’s your classroom, deal with it,” she goes to Gil? Why the hell should Gil be involved?

What the hell is going on on Gil’s shoulder? Why is there a tiny Fistpump Man on it catching a football? Is that the sports person version of having an angel and a devil on each shoulder?

Kaz go grab Mike Knappe quietly and throw him in the back of the van while I disappear. Will meet up in our usual spot; shower stall 3.

Strip is going to “treat” ADHD most likely, and solve it before Milford CC!

They better have some damn good surprise for us tomorrow as to why Dr. Pearl had to immediately rush to the baseball field to address a student…talking too much in class and eating.

And does this make sense to anyone? Gil asks Kaz to pull him from the practice quietly, and then run the practice while Gil’s off doing…whatever to address The Mayor’s major problem. If he has The Mayor standing off to the side by himself doing nothing for 20 minutes, how is that quiet?

The only thing that makes sense to me about pulling him immediately from practice is that they traded The Mayor to New Thayer for a bag of sunflower seeds.

And speaking of making sense, Mopped Up Thorp always makes perfect sense!

Back in my day, I’da whupped the little bastid iffen he mouthed off in my class. Makes me so mad you can’t just kill the little peekers anymore.
