Apollo wasn’t having a good day. He was supposed to go hunting, but he accidentally grabbed his lyre instead of his bow. And then he walked out of his house with his toga on backwards, so it kept falling down. And now stuck here because this chick kept asking him for directions, but she clearly was not listening to a word he was saying – he had had to repeat himself three times now. He was tempted to just turn her into a swan so that she could join the other bird brains.
I suppose some consider him “buff”/ and for her, he seems quite good enough/ but he’d look pretty wimpy in/ OUR contests “Olympian”/ he just wouldn’t have “the right stuff”.

Would I be accused of a mania/ (from my hovel in old Pennsylvania)/ if I chose not to wallow/ in the sight of Apollo/ but to see a lot more of Urania ?

I still don’t get it. I know Mt. Olympus is in the hills above West Hollywood but that’s the only way it’s above L.A.

Apolo was aware that he was incredibly handsome, but he was very self-conscious about his stubby … toes!

You can gaze at him lovingly from now until next Tuesday, but he’s still not giving you the time of day.
