A bit of nonsense in today’s BION entries. Many mammals cry under internal and external stress as a release. Humans are mammals, in case the writers have forgotten.

Ummmmmm…….we cry for a variety of reasons. We cry when we’re sad, angry, or frustrated. And sometimes when we’re extremely happy. For the love of God, it doesn’t take science to explain THAT!
One theory is that they moved a higher altitude to escape mites that were causing a disease called Leishmaniasis. The bugs need a more tropical environment.
Babies cry cause they haven’t learned how to swear yet. Then it becomes a learned behavior that they follow until they know how to swear, and we call them teenagers.
