How is she going to avoid tan lines when she lies on her stomach? Thereās no hook on the back of her bra. To paraphrase the Queen of Hearts ā Off with her top!
Ahhh yes! The School of Marriage where the husband blithely enrolls but never understands that he will be perpetually a couple of credits short of graduating.
I think Arlo is true to his character. For many years he has been cautioning or outright against Janis sunbathing. And for as many years Janis has done as she pleases, but frequently trying to tan on the sly and not get caught.
I think This is a new twist in Janisā character. Her Outright flagrant āI donāt give a damnā attitude brought on by the current situation is unlike her normal sneaky tanning behavior. Bring it out in the open! In flagrante! Absalom had nothing on her!
These comments reflect the complete lack of knowledge we have about this bug and the confusion about the little knowledge that we do have. I think drinking bleach is probably not a good idea, and I doubt that sunlight is going to have much effect on a virus already inside my cells, but we just donāt know. The only thing that I feel pretty sure about is that Iām wearing a mask and glasses if I have to be anywhere within sight of another human, and Iām going to stay away from them as much as I possibly can. My goal in life is just to survive until election day.
In high school, an errant tee shot landed in a backyard adjoining the fairway. When I stepped through the hedge to retrieve it, I found an attractive woman sunbathing topless on a lounge chair, my ball sitting in the shade beneath her chair. So, I quietly stepped back onto the golf course, filed away the memory, and left my golf ball behind.
The big question here is why is Arlo upset? With our age and bodies neither my wife or myself should be exposing much of ourselves but I wouldnāt pitch a fit if she decided to get some sun.
Arlo is probably more concern with Janis giving up than with her getting the tan. If one of strips characters had the virus then it might be understandable
I wonder why the censors donāt like this comment. It is the truth. Before I accept any more lies from the World Health Organization I will trust dad, who is an expert in disease, right here in the US and not some crony for China. Or, I will listen to my wife, also doctor, how about my sister, nephew, niece, two cousins, brother-in-law. I could go on, but you get the idea. Dad says that sunlight does kill the virus and he leaves his masks in the sunlight for two hours to kill the virus. He has been doing this during the outbreak, along with the rest of my family, and they are all doing well. Sunlight does kill the virus, taking vitamin D at 5000 iu seems to prevent it, washing your hands properly works well, and now, not too sure, gargling with mouthwash seems to prevent the infection. But donāt use WHO to back up your claims, especially since the true figure of illness in China is roughly 640K people, and deaths around 64K.

Let him go. He will come back when he finds nothing is normal.

Well, on the plus side there is some evidence that sunlight kills the corona virus.

With that attitude Iām surprised Arlo has no hat, no sunglasses, but is wearing short pants and a short sleeve shirt outside.

I know how Janis feels. We all wish life would get back to ānormalā. Arlo should cut her some slack.

Looks to me that Janis might have put on a few pounds since the stay at home order has been in place!

Iām with others in the comments ā this is āun-Arloā behavior. Perhaps he is off his meds? Iām worried! Intervention may be indicated.

Itās not as though being outside is dangerous, in terms of covid. The virus is not raining down or blown on the wind.

I think Janis is getting some satisfaction that Arlo is mimicking a common response of hers.
