As sands through the hourglass, so are the strips of our story. Finally, we see the actual theme of this story and Gil has nothing to do with it. Cue the theme song: We are the Brotherhood of Baseball. Imagine, the kids from one school helping another school (which, by the way, they have no, nada, zilch rivalry with). Or as Three Dog Night put it: “How can people be so insipid, how can people read this drool… I need a friend”.

So is she blocking pitches in the dirt or is she acting as a backstop? Either way not sure a glove will make a difference. Maybe Gonzo should just lay it in there.
