This guy’s game is so bad, they’re all watching a solar eclipse instead.

No, I’ve done that. I’m not a golfer but was persuaded to play a round, so to speak. On one tee that was high on a hill above the green, I hacked at the ball, and that puppy went straight up. We were looking down range, couldn’t see the ball, when it landed next to us.

Now if he hit it high enough and the Earth rotates far enough in the right direction (or the jet stream shifts it), he might just get a hole in one!!

Guess he’s not gonna make the cut.

I had a friend, Jerry, who did this. He watched the ball go up and come down, and the turned to me and said, “Jerry Adams: Trick Golfer.”

I hit one ball so high it came down with enough ice all over it the the spot where it landed turned into a water hazard,

Never seen so many nostrils in just one panel of a comic strip.

It will probably burn up on re-entry.

I have done this too.xD. My best drives cover maybe 300 yards. 100 straight then 200 after making a hard right! Too bad the course went left.xD

I remember hitting a drive on a Par 4 to within 6 feet of the cup. Unfortunately, the green was on the neighboring hole. :(

Back in the day, President Gerald Ford was playing golf with Bob Hope and others. Although he was counted a very nice guy, he also was generally recognized as less than consistent at the game. In one televised match, he teed off as usual. The camera showed him and the crowd as they watched the ball gradually take a right turn. Then his face showed a real Wow! I really wish that hadn’t happened! expression when the ball hit somewhere in the crowd along the fairway.

Great follow through though.

I’ve had a few pickleballs do that.

Took the wife golfing once….she played Putt Putt golf…..knock it a few yards, repeat till it goes down the hole. She parred her first game…72 on the first hole.XD.
