It’s actually required to be considered for a job in the trump administration. Can’t have any ‘Gloomy-Gus’ types wandering around the White House.

In China, they only show you the good news on the news. No thanks. I’d rather see bad news spewing propaganda peddling on TV in a free world country.

Stupid optimism ist way better than being depressed. In the end your mood doesn’t make a difference on the things that are. But it makes a huge difference in the things you can achieve.

I’m a happier person than most because I never listen to the news. Why would I want to hear the spin some network wants to put on everyday events? There are a lot of better ways to find out what is happening in the world.

“I’ve often been called a pessimist, but I’m not. I’m an optimist who has not arrived.” Attributed to Mark Twain.

Y’ all do remember that we elected him, right? Had we taken care of the people before that, he wouldn’t have stood a chance. Perhaps after 4 years of an object lesson on what happens when there is a lack of compassion in the world, we will choose wisely this time?

It’s allowed, but paradoxically, the people who are stupidly optimistic shouldn’t be, and the people who aren’t, need to try to be.
