In addition to all his defects, we now see his exhibitionist side!!

Too bad Moe isn’t nearby to relieve him of his underwear!!!

Captain Underpants never had this problem.

He should have worn a tiger skin loincloth.

Soooo, Calvin equates Susie with Jane who was Tarzan’s mate. Is there a subconscious connection? lol

Jane more likely said, “Are you happy to see me, or is that a pistol in your loincloth?”

Reminds me of the first limerick we learned in school: "Tarzan swings, Tarzan falls. Tarzan breaks his mighty b@ll$. Tarzan say: “Me no care. Jane will sew me another pair”! :D

She handled it well, that ‘Susie’ is one stable little girl but then again, she used to dealing with ‘Calvin’ ! ! ! ! !

That’s because he was wearing a loincloth, not underpants.

Susie doesn’t realize how lucky she is, considering Calvin’s propensity for going “Au Natural”. I think it’s wonderful how little kids are so comfortable their body. If I didn’t dress my little guy, he would run around naked all day. I believe the problem started a long time ago with an apple tree and a snake.

Jane really wasn’t given many incisive or pithy lines, was she? She played it pretty straight with Tarzan. She never said, “You’re not going out dressed like THAT are you?!? You’ll lose the respect of the baboons!”

So you admit she IS your Jane… #Bingo

Any time Calvin’s in his underpants, they always say that. “Nice underpants.”

Give it a few years, Calvin, and you’ll be taking a great deal more interest in Susie’s underpants. And getting into them.

Jane was in no position to cast wardrobe aspersions.

I imagine Suzi would have preferred the more traditional loincloth.

Jane might have communicated #Metoo. Then again, it was either Tarzan or the good looking silverback playing it cool using a stick to get to the termites.

I’ve heard that Tarzan never actually said, “Me Tarzan, you Jane.” (No, I haven’t taken the time to verify that independently.) The closest line to that quote was in one of the movies, where he pointed to himself and said “Tarzan,” then pointed to her and said “Jane.” Apparently they were attempting to communicate.

But the classic take on the whole business is Gary Larson’s Far Side cartoon. If you’ve never seen it, google it.

This little Tarzan is cute. Susie missed a chance to be ferried around hanging from tree branches, of course with a little help from Hobbes.
