    Good morning™, guys!

“Everybody’s looking for something!” … apparently hidden millions. They must be well hidden if they missed them the first six times.

Good morning™, would be looters !

They had better clear out before the bad guys come to do their search.

Yesterday we were discussing Stooge’s daughter Binnie and who shot Stooge in yesterday’s final panel. I posted these Sunday pages on yesterday’s board but very late. So I thought I would repost them.

They are not concurrent. The first has Tracy hanging in a well as a death trap concocted by Stooge.

Between the two pages was a story about Binnie joining a girl scout troop with Tess as the leader, and then being kidnapped by Stooge. The final panel yesterday follows Binnie with the gun.

The treasure better be in gold or jewels, 1930’s cash would be useless now, save for an old currency collector.

Yeah, can we cut straight to Corney discovering the millions are fake? Assuming they haven’t been eaten by rats, bugs, etc.

Let’s see… Fortuna (seemingly) was looking for the $50k that Shaky1 had, now Coney is supposedly looking for the millions that stooge viller had…I wonder, can Mike come up with ANYTHING original?

1-DETH WARMEDOVER: Well, here we are. It’s been a wonderful date. I’d invite you in but that’s another thing prohibited in Sly Deal’s Lease Agreement. I hope you don’t think it too forward of me if I asked for a good night kiss…

2-DT: This was just a ride home. Not a date. And the thought of my lips on those still-cold-from-the-icebox slices of bologna you got for lips gives me chills.

DETH: Chills? I guess I still got the old magic!

3-Meanwhile SHAGGY: Whew! Finally clean. HOWDY DOOGIE: Yeah, Fat Archie hates a dirty hide out.

SHAGGY: Only thing left to do is to introduce ourselves to the other tenant. HOWDY: THE RATS???

SHAGGY: No you dolt. Oh. I think I hear her now. Bring the shovel. We’ll need it. ♪♪DUN DUN DUNNNNNNN♪♪

One: All we need now is Geraldo Rivera.

Two: Today, Dethany starts her own detective story, considering her own office building to be an “abandoned warehouse.”

I don’t know why, but the story in On the Fastrack looks to have more promise!

    Ah-ha!

It’s as I had surmised in my main postings for the last two days! The objective of the Coney Gang is putative swag hidden in the old warehouse1

Meanwhile, over in the alternate comics kingdom, Detective Dethany is entering an abandoned warehouse, too, as the other crossover story begins [but do note that, as the Creator has repeatedly said, the stories are separate and different]….

Maybe it’s just me but Dethany a detective? Why is it just her and Tracy going to this warehouse? Where is Sam? Where is Lizz? What is Tracy going to do in the event those two guys get the drop on him? Dethany is of such a stature that if push comes to shove, she can kick both of these fellows in their knee caps.

Naive question, one I should know the answer to because I loved those goofy UPA cartoons as a kid:

Does Stooge’s last name rhyme with “killer,” or is it pronounced the French way (“vee-YAY”)? Either way, is there a Gouldian pun or wordplay I’m missing in the name of the character?
