Would these boys skip if they found the money and Coney happened not to be around at the time ?  What if what they find is time damaged bills, or the counterfeit printing plates as suggested yesterday ?

Is that Buffalo Bob looking for the loot along with Howdy? Time hasn’t been kind…

Maybe Stooge was calling the building his bank, referring to its resale value, & not hidden money.

When a criminal hides money in a building, one thing’s for sure, they’ll have to tear it down to find it

The rolled-up carpet has been shown yesterday and today. Could it once have been used to hide a trap-door in the floor that is now obscured by years of dirt & grime?

Maybe it’s not money? He might have converted the money into something else?!

When he was a kid? He looks 16 now.

In the other Strip “On the Fast Track” Dethany is entering Fat Track’s building during a stay at home order. Technically, it’s now a abandoned warehouse and she was in her Noir Detective outfit.

If these goons watched Triple Frontier, they would know the money is in the walls!

Why do I get the feeling we are being shown a clue to where the money is. I’m terrible at these things. Anybody got an idea?

1-SHAGGY: This will make a great Quidditch Patch! Those Harry Potter wanna-be’s will love it here. Privacy! No one at the park yelling “NERD” AND “WEIRD-O” at them. We’ll be rollin’ in dough!

2-HOWDY DOOGIE: Yeah, but we only got two ‘flyin’ brooms. And no cash.

3-SHAGGY: You know those nerds got their own brooms. HOWDY: Stop sayin’ “nerds”. It’ll be bad for business if you slip while the weird-o’s are here.

SHAGGY: I think we should dress up as characters. We can cut up Fat Archie’s black silk sheets for robes. I’ll be Harry.

HOWDY: No way. You be Dumbledore. You got the beard – sort of.

SHAGGY: I’m a little uncomfortable with that ever since we learned he was gay. NOT that there’s anything wrong with that.

HOWDY: Fine. You be Hermione then. SHAGGY: Deal!

When he was a kid? Funny, he doesn’t look 100.

So Howdy says stooge referred to that building as his bank. So why wait to look for it until someone bought the building? That is just stupid. A member of Stooges gang should have quietly cleaned out any “treasure” as soon as stooge was dead, or are all of these crooks just plain stupid like they have been in the last few story arcs?

Will “Buffalo” Bob Smith make an appearance? Yes, I’m that old.

Remember, as long as the syndicate is happy with the storylines,and the current newspapers are happy (and papers have been added since Mike and Joe took over) then that is all that matters.

Yes. they requested some changes late in the stage of the last storyline, but other than that Tribune had given the team alot of free range and leeway with the strip – especially crossovers with outside properties (Which one must assume Tribune had to pay some licensing.)

As I have always believed, if you don’t like a storyline, wait a few weeks and there will be a new one.

I’m sure it’s just laying out in the open…

The search for putative hidden treasure continues, per the plot line I had envisaged! is the prominent carpet relevant? What abut the crate (?) next to it? And there is a lot of floor footage to be inspected and if necessary lifted to see what might be hidden beneath. But “Shaggy” and Howdy are rather amateurish in their search.

And all this is under the watchful eyes and keen ears of Tracy and Dethany….
