So maybe it’s NOT just the flu that the Democrats/media/rest-of-the-world were exaggerating about?

Voting Republican has always been bad for your health, but now more than ever, the mortal risk is undeniable.

Article this morning pointing out that this US administration has been ignoring the experts … and that, mirabile dictu, the experts’ predictions are turning out to be true. What does it all mean? How can the experts be better at something than the GOP’s “leader”? It must be the beginning of the end of times!

If an Elephant never forgets . . . why is it the Republicans use an elephant and forget to wear masks and the infections go up while they have a Jackass for a President who tells them masks are not required at his re-election rally? That’s confusing. What other creatures at the petting zoo could the Republicans have chosen?

Republicans have turned the USA into the world’s covid hot spot.

Remember when Americans used to be known for their know how and can do?

Republicans don’t know anything and won’t do anything, 70,000 new covid cases a day now.

They expect you to risk your life and go back to school and to work to restore the economy they destroyed.

4% of the world’s population. 24% of deaths. This is “the greatest nation on Earth”.

During WW2 everyone pitched in to defeat the Axis. Many items were scarce in stores; people gladly went without such things as ice cream, milk, meat; gas was rationed; consumer products such as radios were unavailable as radio equipment and parts were needed for the war effort. Americans were happy to do without knowing that it would help win the war.

Interesting, and sad, that today’s Trump supporters who proclaim themselves uber patriots cannot deal with such simple inconveniences as wearing masks and frequent hand washing to fight a virus that has killed twice as many American people as the entire Vietnam war.

Duh.. and this is a surprise? trumps wisdom in the past has led to bankruptcies and stiffing his creditors. As president his wisdom does a bit (read lot) more damage. When you lead by your “gut” the product is often what the gut produces..

As willing as I am to place the blame for the rising numbers (cases, hospitalizations, deaths) squarely on Republicans’/Trump’s shoulders (and make no mistake, that’s where I place it), I’d rather see support for them falling on account of their ongoing corruption, bigotry, and divisiveness. The temptation for me is to see Republican mishandling of COVID-19 as the “silver lining” of a public health catastrophe, and that makes me feel dirty.

Good luck, Ive already lost 1 lifelong friend, my mother in nursing home, my lifelong friends wife survived and ex bro in law now + after 12day wait for test + results. I’m in state w/lowest numbers. Sadly, none of us will be left untouched w/out national mandates to curtail & supply our HCPs. Stay safe y’all.
