let me guess. cony’s idea is grab the contact with tracy, grab the guy making the claim on the house and then no one will be pushing the police. yup and of course tracy won’t notice everyone’s disappeared.

between this and shaky I’m thinking to be a criminal in tracytown you have to fail an IQ test.

To make this entry more palatable they could have used one panel to show her peeking thru the hole with the clock in the background…then they’d have two extra panels to actually do something

Here’s a thought for y’all… if Guy is at Fastrack HQ, and Dethany is in tracyville to secure the warehouse for renovation so Fastrack can open a branch office there (which she stated way back about 756 months ago when this nightmare began), and Howdy abducted Guy then theres even MORE holes for the story!

1) Guy is in “Fastrack City” when he is abducted…which most DEFINITELY is out of Tracy’s jurisdiction

2) It was never stated that this is an “official case” for the MCU, more along the lines of a “favor to a friend” so once again, no jurisdiction

3) Despite his misgivings about the potential “land fraud” that Coney and his lackeys MIGHT be involved in, there is no legitimate reason for tracy to be involved in the kidnapping (at least, at this point..once its revealed that it was howdy, theres a questionable link)

If Dethany were not trying to get some zzz in a Tracyville hotel, I might expect it to be the dorm RA doing a room check (we used to get those in college, usually around 1:00 AM, though, from a particularly officious and disliked grad student-RA).

As it is, I suppose it’s a message from Howdy the Puppet-Gunsel (maybe himself) telling Dethany what to do “if she ever wants to see Guy Wyre alive again” or the like….
