Yes, and I’m always tailgating people to read their bumper stickers.
I like women’s T-shirts that are 1) Too small to begin with and 2) Have tiny little writing on the front of them. Gets me in more trouble…
Sort of a self-defeating sign.
Telling a horse to stay off the grass is like telling rain not to fall.
Now, hoof would put up such a notice?
I don’t get horse hoof divots in my back yard, but occasionally, a moose leaves his tracks.
Location is key….
Now he’ll have to leap back to the sidewalk.
Well, flying is also an option. Horse fly?
Me thinks the sign needs bigger lettering…
I think it was Garrison Keillor who told a story about being ticketed for walking on the courthouse “grass”, which was under six inches of snow.
“The Hills are Alive with the Sound of Horace Tracks”
This is how the park supplements its budget. $50 fine
There’s a corner near me that has a sign saying “Post No Signs Here!”
Shouldn’t there be a cop somewhere in the background?
Size 12 font will do that.
Ha! ( the comic)
Smartphone, camera app… zoom in…
“No Photographing.” Darn.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen footprints — or even hoofprints — in grass. (And I do have a friend with horses.)
I conclude that the surface there is sand, so Horace should have nothing to worry about.
“Signs, signs, everywhere are signs. Blocking out the scenery, breaking my mind… ‘do this, don’t do that,’ can’t you read the signs (With apologies to the 5-Man Electrical Band!)?”
You’re going to need a bigger lawn.
