The moral of the story is Never give up your cardboard box of hope….even though it may collapse once in a while….

“Hope” is the thing with feathers -

That perches in the soul -

Yet – never – in Extremity,

It asked a crumb – of me.

Her working title was “Hope is the Thing with Cardboard, Tape, and Staples”, but “feathers” sounded better, and didn’t screw up the meter.

I think that translates to… perseverance? Not a bad thing at all : )

That box would only be improved upon by adding Snuffles.

I thought Hope (Hicks) was quarantining with the virus. So now there is no Hope.
