Janis is regretting having diner out with the kid?

“Waiter, please bring crayons and a kids menu for my husband.”

Hard to believe they could rustle up that much plastic so quickly. (With so many stores needing it!)

Careful Arlo, you’re dining out in the Covid era. Whole new set of social mores to absorb. Either that or Janis is reweighing that third date.

This is quickly satisfying Janis’s urge to ever eat out again.

Mommies are supposed to keep their “Kids” under better control in public. The was the reason mine used a harness and leash when I was small. I was to Exploration Prone for her sanity. But it got me several rides in police cars before I was three. :)

Next time separate tables or maybe separate restaurants.

It’s a husband’s duty to embarrass his wife in public — if the children aren’t around to victimize, anyway.

Substantial? Unlikely. The thicker the sheet, the more expensive it is. Most places are using the cheapest stuff they can get their hands on. Though they might as well spend the money and buy something that’s suitable for a permanent installation. The anti-mask covidiots seem intent on making sure the pandemic never ends.

I thought they asked to be seated at the bar. How come they are in a booth?

In case there were any remnants of the virus on that shield, Arlo has made sure that they are firmly imbedded in his nose and fingertips! ;o{

I miss playing peek a boo with little kids who do that in restaurants …

“Inobtrusive” indicates the case for something of immediate and direct consequence (like a finger in an eye). “Unobtrusive” works better when used to describe an element in a more sedate and benign fashion (like a car parked out of the way somewhere).
