The smell of the vinyl, the heft of the record, the triggering of memories associated with the sounds reproduced. There’s nothing like records.

Vinyl was a goddamned nightmare! I was GLAD when CDs came out.

Used to love the liner notes on the jacket and inside.

We traded a lot of our vinyl for CDs, and then they switched to Blu-Ray. I am NOT rebuilding my music collection every time something new comes along.

Don’t pee on your vinyl people, it’ll ruin the sound quality and the value.

The vinyls also recorded more sounds, I find my old vinyls more melodious than modern cd’s of the same recording. I am talking jazz and such.

I still have my record collection, the Beatles, Neil Diamond, Donna Summers, Frankie Valli, BJ Thomas, Diana Ross and the Supremes, The Beach Boys, just to name a few of the oldies but goodies. Still play them, still love them.

Al my LPs were recorded on cassette, then burned onto CD. Now I have them in my iPod Classic and my computer. Maybe 8000+ songs.
