Pretty near the truth.

The call is coming from INSIDE the hospital.

Then she will be surprised to see her bill including the charge for the telephone call at $9.99 a minute.

Revenge is sweet.

And the nurse just gives out information to any caller on the patients (even though it WAS the patient herself)? We never did that, even back in the 80s when I started… ;-)

Ho ho ho ho ho ho! This reminds me of one time at our favorite lunch time Bistro. The service was really slow that day so one of the guys with us took out his phone. We didn’t know who he was calling until they answered and he waved his hand and said "service at table 6 please. Thankfully the server had a sense of humour.

The worst thing in a hospital is that they leave your room door open, the lights are always on and the nurses are always yelling at each other in the hall ways. And you are supposed to rest? As If!!!

HIPAA violation much? You ask who it is before you share any information.

I’m 98.387652% sure I’ve seen this comic before, or a very very close variation, but an old man … and pretty sure it was a Herman comic too.

This exact thing happened to an elderly friend of mine she was in the hospital for nearly 3 weeks, was misdiagnosed twice, and nobody would tell her anything. I was her medical advocate and I was on the phone constantly to doctors and nurses trying to keep track of what was going on.

THIS IS TRUE!

That could come true……

I saw this going in a different direction, thinking it was Mr. Stein and him saying “Good, I still have time to change the locks”.
