Just which way is April facing? All the panels look like she’s facing front-wise (looking over Elly’s shoulder) and in the last panel it looks like, to me, she’s facing backwards. It could be my bad eyesight.

There are a couple of people at the bottom of the last panel that are pretty creepy looking. I can sort of understand why Elly might not want to be anywhere near them.

That’s some kind of funky crowd they are in.

Fortunately for April she’s too young to understand this depressing remark.

Heck; I’d even sit on santa’s lap this year if this darned Covid thing was over

You need to make an appointment now to see Santa, which may not be a bad idea.

My little grandson recently asked his mother, “instead of visiting Santa at the mall, why don’t we order our presents online?” Ryan was only 5. Times sure are changing!

Is that one kid with the balloon breaking the forth wall by sticking his/her nose over the last panel border?

Most people only put their hand in the fire once. Maybe twice if something important fell in.

Why do all the other kids and parents look like rejects from the Addams Family? LOL.

Message of the last panel: All non-Pattersons are disgusting, ugly freaks.

Rotating baby carrier.

Why doesn’t she put the kid in a stroller? It must be very uncomfortable to carry an 8 month old baby on your back.

Having raised 4 kids, this strip is true. First kid gets most of the pictures, the middle twins got a lot less and the youngest? Not many. Same thing when I was growing up, but then first sister is 10 years younger than me and the youngest is 12 years younger than me

That thing in the bottom centre looks like the Devil’s own version of Cathy.

Same theme…My youngest asked me once why she wasn’t alone in any pictures after the hospital one or her school picture…just then it occurred to me that we never even thought of taking a picture of just her all alone, even when unwrapping her birthday presents of christmas presents…her older sister or brother are always in the picture too…

I love the last panel. If you sat in the mall’s food court, just sipping your coffee, you would have seen all those characters and faces, that’s for sure. Especially the harried mothers with their babies at Christmas time lining up to get that picuture.

I went through it with all the kids, and the last one we have is when the youngest one was a tiny baby and the other two were five and three, and after that we never did that trek ever again….

I got to believe collecting unemployment would be better than working as a mall Santa.

Oh, Canada…

I wonder how many kids pee on Santa’s lap.

Yeah, my baby album has more content than my kid sister’s. At least she has two kids of her own and two grandkids (who are twins with a camera-happy mother) to make it up.

That is one collection of goofy looking standing in line!
