Wonder if Spaetzle means his plan B includes eating too many kid sized meals. Also wonder if Frazz is feeding everyone at school that day and who will pay for it.
My parents gardened. Mom thought green beans had to be cooked until they looked like they came from the can. I would eat raw green beans on the drive home from the garden to avoid her cooked ones.
When I lived in NY the schoolâs âpizzaâ was the worst Iâd ever experienced, which was weird, given the number of Italians about. Moved to NC, and it was actually passable. Frozen, yes, but not French bread with pizza quick sauce and a slice of American cheese on top, like the NY pizza was.
Todayâs strip demonstrates one of the many, varied reasons why I love âFrazzâ. I love Dr. Spaetzleâs concern for his students, and I love how Frazz turned the situation into an opportunity to make the day special for everyone.
But, I do like peas. Frozen better than canned, any day, but they could blend the canned peas, add a bit of seasoning, and have a good pea soup, which would go well on a cold November day.
Weâre having a downpour right now, February 8, â25, that will probably turn to sleet very shortly. Iâm going to go home and have homemade chili!
