Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Adrenaline! The giant bird sits on the runway powering up their engines. Just at the point that you think the craft is about to raddle apart â they release the brake. Quickly gaining speed⊠so that you can clear the short runway⊠then you lift off. Sadly⊠most times⊠your next adrenaline rush is â hoping the ground doesnât come up too quickly and your name ends up the the media.
The food in flight might not be good. But when you can go from a restaurant on the streets of France. To Chicago Deep Dish Pizza. To a Hawaiian lĆ«Ê»au. That would make it worth it.
Iâm waiting for Elon Musk to invent the âHeisenberg Compensatorsâ, a necessary preliminary step before âStar Trekâ type Transporters can âbeamâ you anywhere instantly.
Iâm listening to Jules Verneâs Around the World in 80 Days and am doing the 7-day train trip across the US. When I was a kid, weâd travel in our trusty station wagon from Albuquerque (NM) to West Boylston (MA) is three 12-hour days. In my 30s, I flew from San Jose (CA) to Worcester (MA) in 6 hours and some minutes. Hang in there, guys! It gets even better . . .now i just put a travelogue on the CD player, and get to wherever in minutes!
what food ? chicago to san fran A paper bag with a bottle of water 1 pkg of cookies 1 pkg of crackers . we had to go 1st Grandchild . so never mind GREAT FooD , great flight
And when youâve been to a bunch of luaus, so that the food isnât a new experience, try Feast at Lele on Maui. Think of it as a luau with extraordinary food. Owned by the same people who do Old Lahaina Luau, our favorite luau.

And youâll be paying a whole lot of clams for the privilege of doing so.
And theyâll STILL lose your luggage. ;)

I enjoyed airline food. Oddly, Air France was the only exception.

I donât know about that. The chow on Air New Zealand was outstanding. The wine made the flight even better, even though I slept for most of it.

You havenât lived until youâve had an Air Force in-flight meal, not.

The food wonât be good and youâll be stuffed into the belly of the bird with no room to move. Yeah, no.
