if it’s those plastic bags you get from grocery stores, just send them back in a specific corner of the store so they can be recycled (like at the customer service desk in front of the cashiers at the grocery store I work at; they were in the cart lobbies when I was first hired last November until they moved it a few months later)
They got us used to bringing in our own shopping bags 30 Sep 19. Since the plague, we can’t use them unless we load them ourselves. Now it’s back to the plastic bags or buy a paper bag for 5 cents. I bring the plastic bags back to the store for recycling.
We have two plastic bag bags: one for the flimsy grocery store bags, and another for the sturdier, clothing store type bags, for things that must not leak.
I have sewn cloth bags for me and our daughter so she can save up “trash can liners” for us since we mostly use reusable bags. Works for both families.
We avoid plastic bags because my daughter’s cat eats plastic. At 17, it can’t be good for her. So we carry our own bags (and yes, we have a bag for our bags). Since my daughter bags our groceries (she puts the stuff away when we get home, so she wants things bagged in a specific way), the cashiers don’t trouble us about the bags – they never have to touch them.

A plugger needs bags for his bags because he or she knows that they can be used again and again. Waste not, want not! ;D

We’ve been using cloth grocery bags for over a decade, but we still accumulate vegetable/fruit bags. There’s a bin in the closet full of them.

All the bags are the same size, they just have different names on them.

We have bags for the bags of different sizes. Use them for waste basket liners.

Why buy doggie pooper bags when you can use the ones the grocery store gives you for free?

Haha, I do! But we can no longer get plastic bags here…

Using a box for your bags would be sacrilegious.
