I love the part about it being kindness that turned his affection into love. =3 He too likes who she is, looking past the outside to what lurks inside. <3
So we have firmly established Peter is the Meg (from Family Guy) of the family. But at least nowadays when they do remember him, it is not in a bad way. What a great confession of love by Wigglesworth. You can see why he didn’t fit in with his family.
Wow, Hester needs to have some lessons when Vesper and Mr. Wigglesworth get back to the Earth realm. Remember when Salem went to Hester and said she wanted to learn to be a doctor? What’d Hester tell her? Basically that she was beautiful and only ugly girls had to do more (December 12, 2018). Looks like she was telling Vesper the same thing. Wonder what she’d have told Clover when she got older.
I love the idea that kindness is something that can be of use. In this very broken world, and in particular this very broken country, the idea that kindness can heal, and that kindness in and of itself is on par with medical skills, or spell casting – i.e. a powerful skill with merit – that is a very hopeful thought, especially for those of us who feel helpless. Perhaps our tendency toward kindness makes us more valuable than previously thought.

“There is no one like you in my world.”
So . . . your world needs someone like Vesper? So, the living happily ever after as rulers of your world thing could be true?
I mean . . . uh, See? Happily ever after! I knew it all along! (Even though it hasn’t . . . actually . . . happened yet.)

I hope someday we find out if there’s an overriding reason, like a spell, that we always forget about Peter?

Everything Wiggy praises in Vesper shows his true (and wonderful) character.

I imagine Wigglesworth as having a really deep voice with a smidgen of growl, like Vincent from the 1987 series, Beauty and the Beast.
