Yeah, they’ve been in the back of the ’fridge for six months.

Well, they’re just a little depressed, but we try to cheer them up.

I’ll bet they could rustle up some purple ones.

Nah, all our carrots are happy today.

Carrots were originally blue/purple before humans selectively bred them to be like they are today

Maybe California has some; they have different colored beets.

The grapes that I ate while growing up were always green, and I didn’t understand all of the cultural references about grapes being purple.

Until this year I never saw purple carrots and yellow ones too.

Have yet to see a blue one. Saw a steak once that was blue. Located it by the smell.
