These strips, especially the Sunday ones, especially the expansively gorgeous Sunday ones, have been bright spots in this dismal year. As so many others have said, I am grateful for them.
No weird stuff ever happens around here. Although a mountain lion was tranquilized, caught, and then released in the Cleveland Forest. Does that count as weird?
That is a weird thing. They are called “window areas” where all kinds of high strangeness happens more than other places. Who knew that horned cyclopes from Colossa have been here in Snug Harbor once upon a time? (We got to see it in a cutaway view. Spud though it was something else protruding from the soil.)
The Nonagon! Now that explains a lot. Spud is still angry with his former (and maybe still) one true love. However, she saw something. More to follow…..
This, Will Henry, is a Masterpiece of Composition! Black ink line variations & detail, colour washes, and the voices are ALL incredible. The panel dimensions chosen are simply brilliant! This IS a work of the story/paintings that all “Cartoonists” do daily, but, WOW! This is the very finest! Thanks! (:-)

Could be Serendipity, the pink sea dragon of anime fame.
Or a giant, long-thought-extinct, marine axolotl.
Just think of the giant Axolotl Pudding you could make with that!
Scarier than that giant wandering Blancmange that menaced the Monty Pythoneers.

Sterling-in-a-Box from Sunday’s strip would seem pretty normal in the alternate universe in today’s Off the Mark strip.

Any sea creature who vocalizes with glurp can’t be too terribly threatening.

Oh, so that’s why she puts up with Wallace’s antics on this…she’s forced to admit he might actually be onto something regardless.

I’m kinda disappointed that the sea monster didn’t say “Will Henry”…

Amelia’s monster looks like a cousin of Hank the Hallucination.

Wow. Will has taken Point of View to an entirely new level (See Amelia insert). Oh, The Pink Glurper was cool too.
