I had a biopsy of my tongue last Thursday. I should ask the doc if she is covered for placing my tongue in a bear trap.

Getting that out is gonna be a lot of fun for somebody. Magnet maybe?

Long, long ago, when I went into Basic Training, there was a bunch of us standing on line to get our vaccinations. They were using the pressure injectors (no needle), and the med tech told us to hold our arms still and limp when they gave the shot. Well, some poor guy flinched just as they were vaccinating him, and the pressurized stream left a one-to-two inch cut on his arm.

Reason Numero Uno why I never got a tattoo … I don’t like needles!!

Pretty sure the manufacturer will replace it for free. They make a lot of extras just for occasions like this.

Oi. What a panel to have come up just as COVID-19 vaccines are becoming available! (Not intentional, I have no doubt, but still….)

My biggest fear when donating blood……

I’d pretty much outgrown being afraid of shots. Then I got SICK. At the doctor’s office, I was sitting there in my underpants while we waited for the results of the throat culture. Yea, I was that sick they weren’t going to send me home to come back later. Then the nurse came in with a GIANT shotter! “That’s not a needle,” I observed. “That’s a pipe!”

“I’m really sorry about this, but this is going to hurt. A lot.” Took most of the day to recover from the shot enough to get back into my overalls and ride a wheelchair back out to the car.

Will The Vaccine cover the new U.K. strain, too?

on the list of, “Things you don’t want to overhear your doctor say!”

Just charge him for the needle.

Insurance? Just pull it out.
