Sorry, Calvin, your Dad isn’t Evil Knievel (I’m surprised he drives a stick shift).

Actually, the reason it wouldn’t work is because the mutant snowman would be at the top of the ramp just waiting to grab Dad.

That’s a good idea. At least the part that goes “shovel the snow into a ramp”. Well, the shovel part at least.

Calvins dad has been beaten down so far that he just cannot get up the imagination to smile at his kid.

I’d be lying if I said that I haven’t occasionally “licked the stamp and sent it” on days when the snow isn’t quite bad enough to justify getting up early to clear it off before work, but still bad enough the plows came by and backed up a hump of snow at the end of the driveway.

I sometimes wonder why certain people drive sports or performance cars. While I don’t advocate speeding or unsafe driving, I do like to move along at a brisk pace. When I approach a red light and there is one car in each lane in front of me, I base my lane decision on the type of car I want to follow. For example, I’ll choose to be behind the Porsche rather than the Buick. But sometimes, I’ll end up behind a sports car that’s moving so slowly it makes me wonder why the person bought the car in the first place.

because calvin… We need to go faster and we don’t need bikes ALL THE TIME for “Energy” and why would we waste time using it because all it would do is make some people people late except middle school-late high school (i live in florida so it’s common for us kids in 6th grade to use our bikes to school). their you go calvin.
