What a nice refreshing twist! I think our Storyteller enjoyed classic Marx Brothers movies…with a big pinch of The Three Stooges. Her face is priceless.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again – “Oh no!”He will be helpless to protect himself from her – and she’s trying to kill him. He needs to think like a Cardoodle – break out the LovePotion#9!
Ha! So they are the original Cardoodles, “ungrexed”.
But wait, this has implications. Is it only possible for those who are “departed”? As in, gone from Wally and company’s current reality? Or will Wally possibly meet himself?
Just a thought ( or a jumble of thoughts) if the way a human transforms is dependent on being awake or asleep and this twisty tie holding reality shows those our heroes loved and lost I wonder if there is an emotional connection in the bridging between realities. Oh and don’t dito’s respond to/need emotions also. I bet there are other intersections with emotions and the behavior of the realities and the characters. I’m wondering if emotions are at the heart of it all?
.The sequences on this catwalk remind me of the stories about people who must remain on a marked path to get where they must go, but who are tempted by visions of people they knew or know to depart the path — to their undoing.
You know what, if reality is this breakable, maybe the first thing to do is to not break it. I mean, sure, why not ‘dust’ your enemies with the ability to erase people from reality, but while you’re doing that you poke holes into your own reality till it becomes a leaky bucket full of leaks from other leaky buckets. Or you know what… keep poking holes in it. It’ll work one day. Welcome to Operation Sisyphus.
I do firmly believe that all our animal friends have to do is close their eyes, tap their heals together 3 times, and say, “There’s no place like home”.
Now the question is, what will happen when she tosses that bomb? Will it have substance? Based on what happened with Duffy’s Cardoodle brother, probably nothing. But I am wondering if the dittos might respond to the threat. Based on past threats, they could do many things, passive (a shield) or active.
The Cardoodles do not appear to be generated by dittos, since they never speak.
Or then again, maybe there is a Cracked Cat on the catwalk behind the guys.
Gotta love Aaron’s imagination and the way it stimulates ours.
I got an email from Aaron. He is fine but has a lot of personal family obligations and techno-gremlins now. He hopes to get back to regular posting soon.
If that’s Trixie about to toss a cartoon bomb at Wally, then was that Skeeter from the Cardoodles reality, not Duffy’s brother Benny?
We don’t know how well Skeeter and Tuffy got along in the Cardoodles world, although one sketch we saw a while back showed the two cartoon characters strolling side-by-side with fishing poles, reminiscent of the Andy Griffith Show. It could be usual potential slapstick silliness that Skeeter was running from, or it could be non-recognition that sent him fleeing. He knew Duffy wasn’t his brother Tuffy.
Considering the way ‘Benny’ faded out, ‘Holly’ and the bomb will probably fade out, too. I suspect they’re not in phase with this reality. More like mirages than solid people.
I love that “window” reflection on the bomb -typical cartoon bomb. There’s no such window in the facility they are currently in. (Hey, now I wonder where Micro soft(mal)ware got their logo!)
So these apparitions are straight from the comic book Crazy Cat (can’t remember the exact name.) ? The process that opens trans-dimensional gates got entangled with the comic book?

That Trixie! What a blast!
Talk about your bombshell blonde!

Cold hearted orb that rules the night
Removes the colours from our sight
Red is grey and yellow white
But we decide which is right
And which is an illusion?

A rule 63 Itchy. This could be bad. Especially for Wally. Chopped off parts stay chopped off when you aren’t from Toon Town.
