Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Peter … if you had a truck capable of carrying 1 ton, & you filled it with 3000 lbs. of Canaries, as long as you kept 1/3 of them flying, would you be okay? Pose that to your brother.
Theoretically, Peter wouldn’t have to eat a massive amount of pizza. There already is a gravitational force between Peter and a nearby slice of pizza. However, there is a greater gravitational force with the Earth. If Peter and the slice could be put into space far enough away from the earth, the gravitational force between Peter and the slice of pizza could cause them to move slowly toward each other. [There are some other problems: like survival in the vacuum of space, and time, and patience …]
… On the other hand, if he could eat enough to increase his mass enough, his (pizza) pie hole could become like a Black (pie) Hole from which nothing could escape.
Hey JellyBean! Used to have a friend on AOL that was a fan of Fox Trot. I think of her often when I read the comic. For some reason, I felt a need to post about it today. Who knows? Maybe she will read it. ;-)

Peter’s bound to fail regardless of what project he chooses.

For that to happen, you’d have to get fatter than an asteroid

Careful around cutlery? I’m surprised that they let you near any sharp objects.

In my experience the only think that flies into you mouth when you open it is your foot.

Kind of like Wile E. Coyote and his Super Magnet.
Didn’t work out very well for him in the end.

Like Peter needs a reason to eat more pizza.

Sadly, no, it doesn’t work like that Peter. But it would definitely be cool if it did.

And- might that same scientific conjecture also work for one becoming a giant donut? Asking for a friend.

That could only happen in cartoons and comics…

if you eat pizza with a lot of iron, you could wear a magnet hat and attract the pizza

I’d rather have some sort of stomach by-pass system so I could eat endless amounts of pizza and never get full.
Stephen Gilberg about 4 years ago
That sounds less like a science project and more like the making of “Super Size Me.”

He wants to just get the pizza into his stomach without tasting it?
That’s bizarre!
Daeder about 4 years ago
It’s theoretically possible. Of course, by then you’d just be a giant, amorphous blob. You’d be Pizza the Hutt.

One of these days this will all catch up to Peter. Then he will be a fat tub of lard.
