I just got a meal kit with 3 packs of pepper seasoning and 3 packs of hot sauce for 1.5 lb of hamburger.

Reminds me of the beef stew my late wife made when we first got married. I had a bag of crushed chilis in the spice cupboard that I would use a quarter teaspoon per batch of spaghetti sauce to give it a little heat. She didn’t know what they were. She put 1/2 cup of them into a pot of beef stew she made for me. Money was tight so I had to eat it or go hungry. It took three days to eat the stew and a week to get rid of the afterburn.
