You wouldn’t believe what the voices in my head are telling me!! Something about spacelasers and aliens invading from other planets!! Oh, the horrors!!
I was stunned by the number of comments I received. It may be a record. I am just a thin skinned old solder who although I retired in 1974 I still have trouble coping with civilians . Who is with Carmen today? I know what all the others were but this one stumps me. I do want to thank all of here gave me support. Cheers
Wow, these words feel strange in my mouth, good for Trump for encouraging his cult to get vaccinated. And thank God we finally have a serious investigation into actual election meddling.
Well, a judge in MI did just rule that the Sec of State broke the election laws by unilaterally overruling the laws enacted by the legislature, so there’s that.
Federal authorities have arrested and charged two men with assaulting U.S. Capitol Police officer Brian D. Sicknick with an unknown chemical spray during the Jan. 6 Capitol riot but have not determined whether the exposure caused his death.
Julian Elie Khater, 32, of Pennsylvania and George Pierre Tanios, 39, of Morgantown, W.Va., were taken into custody Sunday. Authorities said they grew up together in New Jersey.
“Give me that bear sh—,” Khater said to Tanios on video recorded at 2:14 p.m. at the Lower West Terrace of the Capitol, where Sicknick and other officers were standing guard behind metal bicycle racks, arrest papers say.
About nine minutes later, after Khater said he had been sprayed with something, Khater is seen on video discharging a canister of a toxic substance into the face of Sicknick and two other officers, arrest papers allege.
Khater and Tanios are each charged with nine counts, including assaulting three officers with a deadly weapon — Sicknick, another U.S. Capitol Police officer identified as C. Edwards and a D.C. police officer identified as B. Chapman.
They are also charged with civil disorder and obstruction of a congressional proceeding. The charges are punishable by up to 20 years in prison.
More than 300 people have been charged in the assault on the Capitol, with charges expected for at least 100 more in what authorities describe as one of the largest investigations in American history.
More than 40 people stand accused of assaulting police officers, who were punched, choked, dragged down stairs and beaten with their own riot shields.
I got into a online debate with a Qanon who argues that Biden is deliberately causing the rise of gas prices. When I asked about supply and demand, he said that is just my opinion… feels good when I stop beating my head into a wall.
So if Stantis is turning away from kooky right-wing beliefs, maybe he could admit tax cuts for the rich don’t actually benefit the economy? Or agree that climate change is a serious threat and that we need to act to deal with it? Or hey, maybe Li’l Mouthpiece will finally address the problem of white supremacist violence? But nah, that’s too much to expect. Stantis has only just come out of his four-year coma — he’s not going to do more than gently poke at easy targets like Trump and Q.
The Former Guy made if politically correct to get violent over stances on issues that “sound good” rather than have a factual basis – as long as they favor the alt-right. Anything that disagrees with the “sounds good” position is to be attacked – even science.
Unfortunately the situation and the world is not as black and white as Carmen or the mainstream media makes it. THERE IS evidence to support the idea that there were irregularities in the election. All of which was dismissed without being addressed. Does that justify the action of storming the Capitol? No. Is it real and should be investigated? Depends – do people really want to know? Or is the desire to transition so strong that it should be part of the back room of politics? Now, I know, there is going to be an army of people who will claim some variant of, “no there isn’t such evidence”, or “all of the court cases were dismissed or not heard”, or more pejorative statements about me or my beliefs personally. The simple answer is – statistically, the evidence is out there. There are starting to be a few peer reviewed studies showing this. I’m a statistician and reviewed them myself and the data is real and independently verifiable to anyone with similar skills. In the time frame where the lawsuits were being created there was no time to do this research by the time Biden was sworn in, so it became moot. It doesn’t mean it isn’t real and it is certainly the case that there are as many attorneys capable of understanding the data pieces as there are stats folks with a deep understanding of Washington politics – the twain rarely meet. The foot stomping and all caps means nothing to the data that is actually out there.
It’s a face-paint free caricature of the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection’s Jacob Chansley. I think he wore that silly headdress because he’s embarrassed to be premature bald—which is the LEAST of his problems at the moment, as he is still in jail.

I’m not so concerned about the voices in my head as much as the things the Arizona Legislature is saying with actual words.

Voices in the head are not the problem. It’s just that they are just so rude because all of them keep talking at the same time.
