It’s true. You can never go home again. So far, it looks like Aquarius could make a clean getaway since he knows he is being hunted and will be wary of his surroundings. Tomorrow should be a look in on Auntie and company.
Aquarius is evidently way too slow with his warnings! Anyway, that’s one more down.
To those who criticized Tracy for leaving the house, he did leave in the capable hands of Lizz who never gets enough “screen time” in this strip anyway.
Thx for the text heads-up, Aquarius, you PoS! The cop chick’s got the drop on me, and I feel like singing!
In fact (meaning panel 4), Ty looks like he is thinking of challenging Lizz’s gun. Not smart. Explains why he was never more than a low-level enforcer and street dealer….
If memory serves, the two longest arcs in Gouldian history were the Mr. Crime story and Flattop Jr. This one is pushing those two for first place. One big difference, those were much more interesting, with some degree of continuity

Slowly but surely they’re nabbing the drug dealer gang one by one.
Next up – a hopefully long stretch in THE BIG HOUSE.

With a reference to “Shinytop,” today’s Rex Morgan is even more obviously a Dick Tracy parody:

It was afternoon when Aquarius saw the house surrounded by police cars. It is now night, and only now is he putting out the message? What’s up?
A: The colorist messed up.
B: It is night (as shown by pursuit of Tiger) but Aquarius waited six hours to give the alert.
C: Other, please explain.

In today’s episode, a deeper side of Moe is revealed…
1-MOTORHEAD MOE: What light through yon window breaks…
2-…It’s so quiet. Bergman could have filmed his classic The Silence here…
3-…Oh simple Aquarius. The actual quote from the Thomas Wolfe novel is You can never go home again And it certainly doesn’t include the word “COPS”.
4-DOLL FACE: One wrong move and I’ll shoot and claim that I thought that phone was a gun. MOE: Perception and Reality seldom meet.

Well, that text – and the cash he’s carrying, and his prints likely matching those in the basement – should make for some entertaining explanations.
