Cats always know…

We all have our burdens to bear.

now how does that work with Opal and the dog Roscoe?

It’s not really a chemical bond though. More like explosive set nailing…

They sure have an attachment.

The cat is sure attached to Earl! :)

My cat will climb me like a tree and chew on my hair, gottta love them!

That is too clingy – especially if (since?) Muffin still has her claws.

Like the bond between the two sides of a velcro fastening.

I have a cat on my lap right now. Fortunately, her claws aren’t sunk in like Muffin’s are.

Declaw the monkey on his back.

On an individual basis, I like cats, we’ve even had a few through the years. I prefer dogs, however. As a group, especially feral cats, I do not like them at all. One of the mallard couples on our pond just hatched 8 little ones. Within a week, feral cats had killed them all.

Right now, my Siamese kitten is on the back of my chair, leaning against my neck, so I can feel for Earl.

LOL! That would be my cat-hating ex & my old boss BS the Maine Coon Monster, whose favorite place to nap was next to him in the easy chair.

Aaaaaw get off my back…I just gave you a treat….

With pointy cat claws who blames Earl.

Actually.. that bond has a name and it’s claws.. sharp pointy claws.

One cannot help but bond with object of one’s allergies.

Earl needs to sit in his comfy chair about now.

Perhaps if the cat was more like ‘Paulie’

I’ve read that cats seem to know and pester people who dislike them because avoiding a cat’s gaze and not immediately smothering them is considered good cat manners, so they warm up to those who ignore them and hide from those that don’t.

At the moment, you should be happy that bond is unspoken.

one of our cats used to do that to my wife all the time – she liked to ride on her shoulder, but couldn’t jump that high…
