Well, it looks like Aquarius got the better of Oscar in the end. I don’t know what happened to the knife, but it seems that Auntie Bellum is still alive. Aquarius does care for her.
I still didn’t get time to write up my summary of Peggy Bellum I was talking about. I’ll get to it later or tomorrow. I never have enough time these days.
The tray that Alex used as a shield is bent pretty, pretty good in the background. I’d like to think that since Oscar is in lullaby land, his skull did more of that damage than the knife in his hand.
Very cool how Tracy and Sam’s silhouettes frame Alex almost like he’s caught in a searchlight. He’d fit right in on the album cover for McCartney & Wings’ Band On The Run!
The two gun totters Tracy and Ketchum in action…….sort of! And Oscar lost his knife? And Aquarius the twerp looks shook up! And where is the blue balloon?
1-SAM: If we shoot at the same time, my bullet will get there first because I’m a few inches closer than you. So, I’ll get credit for the kill. NARKY: HANG ON!
2-…NO NEED TO SHOOT! I was just…ah…saying a prayer for my Aunt. I’m religious that way. DT: Yeah, what about the guy on the floor?
NARKY: Oh. Him? He’s…he’s even more religious than me. Knee praying isn’t good enough. He’s got to be prostrate to pray.
DT: Oh, one of those Cult-types, eh? What about this mess, then?
NARKY: Ummm, he got possessed by the spirit and flailed around a bit.
SAM: Makes sense, Dick. I’ve seen that on Sunday Morning Evangelical programming.
DT: OK, sorry to have bothered…wait…3 people in various stages of unconsciousness. That seems odd…
Probably the best thing Aquarius could say for himself. Back when he was dealing with murder and putting Tiger Lily in the root cellar, we were definitely seeing his evil side. He loves his aunt Peggy more than anything at this point. He certainly cares for her more than his slimy father does, and I dare say cares for her more than he cares for his father. That’s touching.
It comes as a bit of a pleasant yet at the same time wry surprise that Alex has managed somehow to defeat knife-wielding Oscar and render him unconscious (if not un-alive). Tracy and Sam were ready to use deadly force but showed restraint as Alex quickly and wisely surrendered and implored aid for Auntie, who is still not conscious after being drugged and possibly assaulted with a deadly pillow by Oscar, “the beast unleashed” who staked all on a quick victory and lost (no escape to Bogota—much less “Bolivia”—ahem!—for him).
Now, as Kelly regains her wits (such as they are) in the outer room and Alex seems ready to tell all for the sake of Peggy, Tracy and Sam can holster their pieces and get into investigative mode. Sunday might just be the windup for this story, though there remain unresolved plot points….

Good morning™, surrender monkeys !
“I don’t know what to make of this but at least we got it under control.” I think Peggy’s going to be alright.

Assuming that Pouch and the mysterious blue balloon – and its rather violent customer – slip away unscathed,
Looks like another Sweatbox Express pulling out of the station right now!

So, we finally get to the near end of the story. What a looong far out trip!
At least today confirms my assertion that on the 5th an error was made by not showing Peggy Sue’s body.(I know, someone will still live in denial)
Oh and I guess her green blanket from the 5th got knocked off the bed in the wrestling match!

Sam: “What do you think, Tracy?”
Dick: “I think he’ll get 10 to 20 just for that shirt.”

Aquarius love his aunt so much ♡. He defeated the menace and ask for help. He’s not perfect, but is a great guy.

As someone who remembers the Flower Power era, I’m glad the druggie turns out to be a better person than the greedy.

My guess is that the metal tray Aquarius used to block the knife turned it back onto Oscar.

Well, that was certainly a twist I didn’t see! I have more respect for Aquarius, some more but lets not push it.

He’s a drug dealer! Sheessh! He’s hardly a great guy. How many lives has he destroyed?
Just because he loves his aunt doesn’t change the fact that he’s an SOB who doesn’t deserve an ounce of pity!
