Been to a few of those sorts of meetings.

Passive-aggressive sarcasm.

A self-help group or self-absorption? You wonder why they’re there… Court order?

Oh yeah, they’re quite excited about meeting you, hearing your speech and sympathetic to your feelings of missing a ballgame. NOT…

Nothing wrong with being passive-aggressive. They get the best of both when they bring out the worst in you.

I like the lady who not only brought a book, but also a cat to lap. That’s planning ahead.

This reminds me of gradeschool…wait, make that all my educational years.

I’d tell Bob to shut up, but I don’t want to give him any undue attention.

Today, they have these meetings virtually, which is great since you can mute them.

Two women engrossed in a book. Two men equally absorbed in their phone or pad. One speaker. One sleeper. Looks like the last staff meeting I attended before I retired. (I would be the occupant of the overturned chair.)

Seems more like a court ordered driving class, not that I’d know anything about that!

“Passive” and “aggressive” are antonyms; “passive-aggressive” is, ergo an oxymoron.
