    Speaking of which. . .my sister had to have two roots and two caps . . .and the technology is so advanced that the root canal didn’t hurt at all and the caps were made using computer scans of her teeth and a material called cerec right before her very eyes. The only thing that still hurt were the novocaine shots. . .

    My dentist told me that there has been an increase in serious dental surgeries during the pandemic. The biggest problem with those kind of surgeries is the time and expense of temporary cosmetic measures during the process. In a “masked society” those steps can be skipped.

    To be prosaic, similarly to native copper, meteoric iron was worked by some peoples before they discovered smelting, but I don’t know off-hand how far back that started.
