In the spring of 1912 a man approached by Grandfather, then a beat cop. He wanted to be arrested for something he did years before…what it was or where it had happened he refused to say. My grandfather arrested him. A few days later that guy appeared before a judge. He refused to give his name, what his crime was or where it had happened. Judge was was 30 days enough. The man said yes…bang….30 days in jail….
