When Peter Ustinov was told by a sales lady to have a nice day, he replied

“Madam I have other plans”

I often reply, “Well, if you insist!”

There seems to be a presence in the room indicating that his day won’t be quite so nice.

I’ve got a list of chores for you today…..

Even though she said thanks, it appears that the wizard’s wife in panel 3 chose to ignore those recommendations.

He got the bag of chips open without having them explode all over the place?

I never knews they had supermarket and chips in medieval times?

English chips are the same as French Fries. Did they get them from the French?

You may have to zap her with one of those “Have a nice day” smiley faces, Wiz!

She was talking to both of you, Wiz, and watching you snacking on the couch all day is not Blanche’s idea of a nice day.

Go for it. Some suggestions are worth taking.

What drives me nuts are the clerks that say, “Have a nice one.” A nice one what? A nice nap? A nice sex life? A nice meal? A nice life in general? A nice one what?
