Sounds like a typical day in New York State when the Governor the Assembly Speaker and the State Senate Majority Leader try to hash out the State Budget where New York City and Long Island want more than Upstate as usual.
I’m for anything that prevents, those “Spend and Borrow” politicians from spending any more money in my name. I now owe $154,142. for just being a tax paying citizen of the United States.
A possible interpretation – the Kingdom of Id had been financed by graft and corruption, the Fink ended that, and now there’s no money to get anything done and all the improvements have gone to Heck.

Government has made it their business to inconvenience the citizens especially when the budget is involved.
It’s usually on the issues of how much higher the taxes will be raised to support pet projects that do not help the citizens paying the taxes.

“Budget agreement” is gov talk for “corruption planning.” They’re figuring out how to skin the citizens to line their own pockets.

Things are showing wear and tear. Moat fills in, weeds abound, windows boarded up. Much like the inside of Fink’s mind.

Surprised that the grammar police hasn’t harped on that last sentence saying “It should be ‘Sorry for THE inconvenience’”…

On a different topic altogether, why does the moat just end instead of going around the castle?
