Sorry to barge in, but I brought cupcakes…two unrelated issues. Sorry I wrecked your car, but I brought tacos.

Those cupcakes came out of the vending machine in the teachers’ lounge, right? Hey, they’re only a year and a half past their expiration date.

“So, how did your meeting with Mrs. Karenna go?”

“Pretty good. I just would have felt better about it if she hadn’t kept squirting lighter fluid on me all the while.”

SIGH another story line that we will never see the end of. What are these cartoonists up too anyway?

Given the lack of story endings my guess is their hobby is tearing out the last chapter of every book in the library.

P1, Thing is about to smack Gil sillier.

P2, Nice of Mimi to force her way in the door.

P3, Well, you have been known to burn down houses.

Store bought, pretty weak Mimi.

So out of the blue, Mimi asks Gil to cover her one class. And gives him no lesson plan, so I guess it’s do whatever you want day in that class. Then, in the 45 MINUTES of that class, Mimi drives to a bakery, gets cupcakes, drives to Corina’s house (after pulling her address from her records), without calling first to even see if mama CK is home, then sits down to chat. At this point the school day is just about over and she really needs to be heading back to run practice. Although, she rarely does anything at practice anyway so whoever her assistant is can run things I’m sure.

So far this looks close to what I guessed. Some heartwarming bs about why CK needs to stay with her mom. But don’t worry, Mimi will arrange therapy, or in home help, or fundraise, or whatever and CK is off to at least Community College in the fall.

I would have brought matches and some kindling. The cupcakes are probably a better gift.

If the cup cakes are chocolate, make sure there’s no Ex-Lax in them

How does mom CK know who ‘coach Thorp’ is considering she’s such a mess?

Why no pie? Mimi could have either gotten them from the vending machine or by lifting one or two at the library board interview or debate or whatever that s**t show Zane(y) and (Detest)Abel put on
