P3- Having been hit hard by some unforeseen pool expenditures that Mimi cannot explain, GilPa is relegated to delivering pizzas. Hot and ready has a different meaning for these two.

Gil, in all reality , pay attention to cars backing up and distracted drivers when you’re in a parking lot . I know from experience that accidents happen there .Fireworks tonight when Gil drops by for a visit with Honest Abe Brito . Have a safe and sane Fourth of Juĺy

Ummmmm GilPa is the one who ask Disagree)Abel if he can not be a jerk?

When did he become the water (pie delivery?) boy for the library board?

The (now) three plus week delay in selecting the new board member is primarily because they don’t like Burrito’s personality and/or approach? What a bunch of spineless meely-mouths

Bold prediction: three more weeks (minimum) of this lame story arc, goodbye Milford CC

P1 the kid is nice enough and we can rationalize not picking him, but (Dispos)Abel is a problem…

P2 thank you for giving me Winston Wolfe’s number!

P3 Mimi is about to fix her a “problem” as she shoves GilPa into the path of a car driven by Pedro

Mimi and Gil get along best when they discuss how they can meddle with their players lives

OK, Rollie has been on the Library Board for the last 29 years, mainly for the pie. Maybe Gil’s research in the library [Snort!] has turned up an obscure Milford ordinance dating from 1837 saying that no one can serve on a town board for 30 or more years. So Rollie will have to turn in his fork, a second position will open up, and Abe and Zane can both be appointed to the vacancies. They will then carry on their conflict in Board meetings until one kills the other or the Board votes to dissolve itself because it’s just not worth the hassle any more, pie or not. Meanwhile, Katy says “A pox on both your houses!” and elopes with Mark Godleski, since he’s a better pitcher than Zane anyway. With Zane in a slump and Mark honeymooning in Las Vegas, Milford misses out on winning the coveted second place in the Valley, but no one cares since all the other teams already ended their season three weeks ago. The story arc wraps up with a rare post-season bonfire, at the Karenna home. Done, and done. Next week… it’s tee time!!!

I heard there’s a push to have Ed Asner step aside from the Library Board while the numbers in the Senate can confirm a similar minded replacement for the next 25 years.

If the library board race is this heated, what happens when someone runs for city council or mayor? The streets must flow ankle deep with blood!

The guy’s WHOLE platform is that the library is a waste of taxpayer money! WHY would anyone spend a second considering him for a spot on the library board?

This old geezer has been involved with the library for 29 years? No wonder Brito is trying to change things

“Thanks for the commitment.” Gil just signed up for aluminum siding, and a 20 year timeshare for a condo in the Everglades. Ed Asner holds a grudge a long time.

Huh? What? How did that end up with Gil having to talk to Burrito? So the Board wants to hire him, as long as he changes his personality? Or was it that they were going to hire Zane but Gil convinced them to change their mind, pending him talking to Señor Doofus?

And speaking of pending, your Saturday hilarity is pending you going to the following link and reading today’s Mopped Up Thorp.

Well have a safe, fun, relaxing holiday weekend all of you in the U.S. I know I’ll have two restless nights, worrying about who is getting placed on the Board. It sure looks like Burrito now, despite my what looked like a good guess of them picking Zane and then him relinquishing the post to Burrito. That’s okay, my successful prediction percentage won’t drop too badly, considering it’s already standing at about 3%.
